Trickey’s grew in 1966 when Bill and Janet Pullen came aboard, joining original owners Paul and Joyce Trickey. In 1980, Paul Trickey retired and the business was purchased and taken over by the Pullens. Today, our company is led by Steve Kainz and his wife Jean, the Pullen’s daughter and son-in-law. Steve started in the towing business when he was seventeen years old as a driver in Chicago, Illinois, moving to Wood River after marrying Jean. Working at Trickey’s since 1989, he formally took over the family business in 1997. His vast experience as a driver combines with the community based business started by Paul and Joyce Trickey to make Trickey’s Service Inc. the trusted authority for transportation service in the Riverbend area!
